"The (Not So?) Magnificent Seven" was the first webinar in "Ted and Logan's Briefings on High-Tech Industries" series of free public events inspired by the popular elective, Economic Analysis of High-Tech Industries,  taught by Ted Snyder, former dean and William S. Beinecke Professor of Economics and Management at the Yale School of Management, and Logan Bender, technology investor and Yale SOM alumnus.

In their course, a Yale SOM elective also offered as a Global Network Course, Ted and Logan introduced tools and frameworks used to analyze high-tech industries. Applying concepts taught in the course to current events was a vital component of many of the classes, and the webinar series offers the chance to continue those valuable discussions.  Over 2,000 participants, including alumni of the course, from around the world joined the first webinar, hosted by the Yale Center Beijing on April 24.

A recording of the first webinar is available on Yale Center Beijing's YouTube channel.

The topic of the next webinar will be electric vehicles (EVs). The date and time will be posted on the Events page of this website once it is announced.
