Global Network Students are Invited to the Responsible Investing Conference and Low-Carbon Portfolio Case Competition

October 7, 2015

Students and professionals are invited to the conference, and students are invited to the case competition as well.

On Friday, November 13, the Responsible Investing Conference and Low-Carbon Portfolio Case Competition will take place at the Yale School of Management. Last year’s competition brought together 11 teams from top MBA programs around the world, renowned faculty, and top experts in the field to tackle the technical and ethical aspects of fossil fuel divestment from university endowments. Tapping into the creativity, passion, and expertise of talented MBA students and professionals, the event delved deep into the moral and economic considerations of investing responsibly. This year, as a result of the success of last year’s case competition, the event will be expanded into a full conference exploring the future of responsible investing and how to educate leaders in the field. The conference will include panels on ESG Integration and the Use of Metrics; Innovations in Driving Capital to Solve Social Challenges; and Global Trends in Clean Energy Investment. The concurrent case competition will ask students to design a flexible ESG fund for university endowment clients of an outsourced CIO. We welcome professionals to join us for the conference and we welcome students of all levels as conference participants or case competition teams.
