Indian Institute of Management Bangalore Director Dr. Sushil Vachani has appointed Professors Ishwar Murthy and Sourav Mukherji to the positions of Dean, Faculty and Dean, Programmes, respectively, at IIMB. 

The two new positions will replace the current position of Dean, where Professor Devanath Tirupati, whose term was due to end in November 2014, will serve until March 1, 2015. Dr. Vachani thanked Tirupati for his many contributions to IIMB, including leading IIMB's effort to join and become an active member of the Global Network for Advanced Management. Professor Sourav Mukherji, who taught the Global Network online course Inclusive Business Models in 2014 started in his his new position as Dean of Programmes on January 19, 2015. Professor Ishwar Murthy will assume the Dean Faculty position on March 1, 2015.
