The school, the first Canadian school to join the network, announced its membership in a press release.
The Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia announced its membership in the Global Network for Advanced Managment in a press release issued on July 3. That school, along with the Lagos Business School in Nigeria, were both accepted into the Global Network earlier this year, expanding the network's membership to 27 schools. Sauder, which is based in Vancouver, is the first school in Canada to join the network.
From the release:
“Our partnership with GNAM offers the Sauder School an intriguing opportunity to contribute to and engage with a global community dedicated to advancing an international approach to business,” said Sauder’s Dean Robert Helsley, Grosvenor Professor of Cities, Business Economics and Public Policy. “It offers the potential to provide students and faculty with transformative experiences that deepen cross-cultural understandings and open doors to new international opportunities.”
