Looking Back At Global Network Week for Faculty

Stuart DeCew and Jennifer Rogan of the Yale Center for Business and the Environment recap the first Global Network Week for Faculty.

In a blog post on the Yale SOM website, Stuart DeCew and Jennifer Rogan, both of the Yale Center for Business and the Environment, recap some of the highlights from the first Global Network Week for Faculty. During the week faculty from across the Global Network discussed their ideas and research with members of the business community and representatives from the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.

The four day program provided an opportunity for faculty who are leading work on inter-disciplinary challenges across environmental, social and economic systems to share expertise and to explore possibilities of connecting teaching, research and programming across the Global Network. Participants shared ideas for creating new curriculum, case studies and courses; for collaboration in teaching approaches; and for integrating the perspectives of business leaders into the classroom.
