Entrepreneurship & Business Responsibility in the Hub of Asia

Hong Kong is Asia’s World City and ranked #2 by the World Bank Group in the category of Ease of Doing Business.  Many entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and private investors choose to set up their footprint in this small city.  In recent years, social responsibility, ecosystem, and sustainability have aroused huge concerns in the community.  Many of these entrepreneurs took the initiative to transform their business model to be more socially conscious. They realized that it is not just the responsibility of MNCs.  You will have opportunities to talk to executives about how companies can develop profitable and socially responsible models, and about their visions for making society better.

 

The program shall consist of:

Pre-class readings

Classroom lecture and case studies

Companies visits, field studies, reflection paper

Networking, cultural visits

This program is suitable for students who are interested in:

  • extending their knowledge about entrepreneurship and socially responsible business models in Hong Kong
  • understanding the culture of Hong Kong / Asia
