ADDITIONAL COSTS: USD 1,700 (covers the return flight São Paulo – Amazon region, hotel accommodations on site and the 3-day overnight boat trip; all meals included) This course is a learning experience where students interact with local actors in the Amazon region, as well as specialists in climate change, ESG, and local development. Participants will engage with the group and with themselves to learn and reflect on: 1. Sustainable Development as a formal topic 2. Sustainable Development as a keydriver for more responsible, contemporary leadership and decision-making processes. COURSE OBJECTIVES: To present and bring to life, through experiential, collective, and theoretical learning, the questions that permeate the concepts of sustainable development and leadership for sustainability. To promote research and reflection on the development models present in the Amazon territory, through direct engagement and relationship-building with different realities and social actors (companies, local communities, NGOs, etc.). To develop critical thinking that integrates perspectives on the environment, society, economy, politics, ethics, and human values into decision-making and leadership abilities.
