This course is designed to equip students with an understanding of the traditional challenges and opportunities of doing business in emerging markets. Students will acquire a holistic understanding of the political, cultural, social and economic challenges companies face when considering the benefits of expanding to and conducting business in emerging markets. Students will explore how history, religion, and social issues like women's empowerment influence business practices. Also, they will gain practical knowledge of market entry, marketing strategies, and navigating the public sector, all while considering the impact of cultural differences and the changing global economic landscape.
