This course offers an introduction to Design Thinking, a human-centered methodology used to drive disruptive innovation across industries. Students will explore key concepts such as empathy-driven user research, ideation, and rapid prototyping, while learning to approach problem-solving through the lens of creativity and user-centered insights. Participants will gain hands-on experience with core components of the design thinking process, including problem framing, ideating transformative solutions, prototyping iterative designs, and visualizing future scenarios. Emphasis will be placed on applying research methods used in exploratory and generative phases to uncover latent needs and opportunities for innovation. By the end of the course, students will have developed the skills to harness design thinking in tackling complex, real-world challenges, preparing them to become agile innovators in their fields.
