Yale University will inaugurate Yale Center Beijing, a new facility that will provide space for events, research, and study, with a conference on October 27-28. The center will be managed by the Yale School of Management.

The conference will include panels on technology, healthcare, the environment, U.S.-China relations, asset management, and the role of the arts in society, featuring Yale faculty, alumni, and top leaders from China. Live video will be available online to the Global Network for Advanced Management and the public.

Located in Beijing's Chaoyang District, the new facility is designed as a hub for Yale’s activities in China and for collaborations between Yale insitutions and organizations in China, with advanced technological capabilities to connect Beijing with New Haven and other locations around the world. It will facilitate research, act as a platform for discussions and conferences, and provide a home base for professional and executive education efforts. It will also provide workspace for faculty and students from throughout Yale to use when they are in Beijing.
